I'm Ray. I am a civil service student and amateur rally cross driver from Colorado.
I have been driving rally seriously for just over 4 years. I got started in highschool with friends; driving local country and mountain roads. Eventually, I began racing small time events in my area and have since moved on to larger events; traveling further in Colorado and to Arizona and New Mexico for some events. For the 2015 season I am hoping to begin competing in events in Southern California.
I drive a 2011 Ford Fiesta ST with Ford Racing B-Spec Race Suspension Kit, Ford Racing Short Throw Shifter, and Ford Racing CAT-back Exhaust System.
Outside of rally, I enjoy assisting those in need; and am active in several after school programs in my area. My interests include hiking(with my Australian shepherd: "Jack") , cycling, rafting, running, cooking(on occasion), sushi, craft beer, and more.
My intention is to begin a career as a social worker after college, and I also hope to be able to continue rallying for a long time. Hopefully moving up to bigger events and series. One of my current goals is to eventually race the Oregon Trail Rally in Portland, OR.
I started this blog as an additional outlet for my rally interests. I typically share news coverage, awesome media (photos, videos, etc), tips, how-tos, interesting findings, and more.
If you have some interesting content which you would like to share with me, feel free to send it my way via the contact form on my contact page over here.
